Born on the Wirral, in the north west of the UK. Paul's musical roots are in Blues, Rock and Roll and Country Rock, although his career has spanned everything from Comedy bands through power trio rock to solo acoustic performances. He has also worked as a supporting musician playing guitar, bass, mandolin and dobro with many famous names both live and in the studio.

During the late 80s Paul toured europe as lead guitarist with The Ben Reece Band and wrote two of the songs on Bens 1988 BCMA album of year. One of the songs "Pebbles on the Beach" was issued as a single and played extensively on radio 2.

After coming off the road for a few years to raise a family, he climbed back in the saddle with the Liverpool Country Rockers "Hambone" as well as working with the rootsy "Dansette Alligators" who Paul still performs with today. Paul is a talented songwriter winning competitions and having songs recorded on both sides of the pond. His debut solo album "A Town Like This" is a collection of mainly reflective acoustic songs and has earned him many rave reviews and is available at all digital download sites.


Paul's latest project is an acoustic harmony outfit called Harbour Moon. Also involved are Ian Davies, Carole Newby and Martin Taylor. Their debut album "Whisper On The Wind"  has also received great acclaim. Roger Lyon of Radio Merseyside commented "it was the finest collection of songs he had heard in years".  A follow up is to be released shortly.
